WhiskerRefill is an administrative tool for tracking refill due dates and organizing refill requests. It does not practice veterinary medicine, it does not authorize prescriptions, and it does not replace the professional judgment of the attending veterinarian or the requirements of a valid veterinarian client patient relationship. Every refill approval remains a clinical decision made by a licensed veterinarian in the clinic. Clinics remain responsible for compliance with state pharmacy rules, federal controlled substance rules and messaging consent law in their jurisdiction.
